Alpena part 2

We had a paper airplane contest, with lots of time spent on researching designs on youtube, and lots and lots of practice runs!

We made pizza crusts, and went to Grammy's house to have make-your-own pizzas with her.  Instead of cramming in the van, we put the pizza crusts and brownies in our sleds, and walked the two blocks to her house!  It was so fun!  And cold!  This will have to be a new Alpena tradition.

Picking lots of toppings for their pizzas:

Rowdy game of bingo while the pizzas baked:

On Friday, we had a nice lazy morning (again).  The girls always had fun playing with Greyson and his toys:

It was too cold to go sledding again, unfortunately.  So we went to the shipwreck museum, instead!

The girls got GG to go in the tubes!  Usually he just climbs up to that level, and then turns around.

We drove home Friday afternoon/night to get home ahead of the snow storm.  We had a wonderful three days in Alpena, though, and loved having lots of time to hang out with Mary, Justin, & Greyson.  I haven't been there in the winter for a very long time, and forgot how beautiful (and snowy!) it is!
