Magic Kingdom - Day 2

On Sunday we decided to go to the Magic Kingdom again, since we didn't get a chance to see/do everything on the first day.

The bus ride to/from the park was always a high point for the girls! I washed our Mickey and Minnie t-shirts so we could be matchy-matchy at the Magic Kingdom again. And of course the girls had to wear their Minnie ears!

After riding the Buzz Lightyear ride a few times, we bumped into Stitch, of Lilo & Stitch. Even though none of us have any idea who he is, we liked him because he pretended to lick Jessica's autograph book. Cracked us up!

We finally got to ride Dumbo! Jessi and I shared an elephant.

She LOVED the ride!

Katie and Megan were in the Dumbo behind us. They liked the ride, but bickered the whole time about who could use the controls the whole time. Sisterly love.

We were very lucky to get to meet the Disney fairies - they're a hot ticket and the lines were usually 90 minutes or more! We snuck in 10 min before opening and got right in. Here are the girls with Rosetta.

And with Tinkerbelle!!

And with Vidia, she was hilarious.

Next, we rode a Goofy roller coaster. Jessica was just tall enough to go on, and she LOVED it!! We went on it three times in a row for her! She was literally bouncing with excitement each time!

She even put her hands up! See the short hands next to Chris? Katie and Megan took the front car of the roller coaster each time.

Next we went on the Pooh ride and the Teacups. Katie and Megan wanted to spin fast, so we let them go in their own teacup!

Jessi rode with us, and we spun a little bit for her.

We went on another ride on the carousel - Jessica's favorite ride. This time we let her sit on her very own horse, with Donald riding in front of her.

Chris and the girls by the carousel. Can you tell that we were glad we brought our double stroller??!! It got a LOT of use by all three girls! We covered a lot of ground, thanks to the stroller.

We rode on the riverboat around Tom Sawyer's Island.

We left the park in mid-afternoon, when the crowds got really bad. We took the girls to the pools at our hotel to play for a bit before dinner.

Ariel was by the piano-shaped pool.

Here are the girls in the neck of the guitar-shaped pool.

At dinner, one of the Mickey-shaped sprinkles jumped from Jessica's ice cream to her t-shirt. We joked that it was a 'hidden Mickey'...there are Mickey-shaped things hiding ALL over the parks, and the girls had a great time finding and pointing out all of the hidden Mickeys.
