Hollywood Studios

We got up early to make it to the "Extra Magic Hours" at Hollywood Studios on Saturday. It was definitely worth it to get there early before the big crowds.

The first ride we did was the Toy Story arcade ride. What a blast! I beat Chris' score handily! We grabbed a Fast Pass to go on it again later in the day. Here we are in front of Mr. Potato Head, while waiting in line.

After the Toy Story ride, we saw the Little Mermaid show and the Playhouse Disney shows, and rode on the Aerosmith Rock-n-Roller Coaster. Katie rode it twice with us - her first corkscrew roller coaster ride, and it was all in the dark!

Amy and the girls in front of Mickey as the Sorcerer's Apprentice.

We went on the backlot tour tram ride, and saw lots of special effects and behind-the-scenes stuff.

Then we saw the Extreme Stunt car show, it was fun to watch the crazy driving and feel the heat from the explosions.

We watched the parade, and the girls had fun dancing to the music.

We saw the Indiana Jones stunt show, and Jessica fell asleep on me and somehow slept through the WHOLE SHOW!! How she could sleep through the gun shots, explosions, airplane, etc, is beyond me! She stayed asleep as we walked to our restaurant at the front of the park, as I laid her down on the booth bench, and all through dinner. That was one tired kid!

After dinner, we walked to the fake downtown to see the light show. It was amazing! It was like downtown Rochester's light show on steroids. The lights "danced" to Christmas music every few songs. There was even fake snow from snow machines! What a lovely night.

Katie loved this bear. See the hidden Mickey?

Megan couldn't stay awake, poor baby. I could have stayed for hours, admiring all of the lights, but we had to get back to the hotel to get the kiddos to bed.

We got a quick pic in front of the huge Mickey hat at the front of the park. What a fun day!
