Biking

On Sunday, after church, we decided to go on another big family bike ride.  This one was again about 11.5 miles total, but this time we cheated on DQ (gasp!) and rode up to the Paint Creek Cider Mill north of town to get ice cream.  We took the Paint Creek Trail to get up there, and it was such a pretty ride.

A pretty spot.

We stopped at the library on the way back (it's just off the trail) so that the girls could check on "their" tadpoles in the little pond/waterfall.  They could have played with their tadpoles all day!

Here's Megan's haul for the day, from just the ice cream shop floor, and under the library vending machines.  She is the BEST coin finder ever!!

We had such a fun time that we decided we'd like to bike up there every weekend if we can!!

After the long bike ride, we spent a few hours inside and watched "How To Train Your Dragon" for the first time.  Fun movie!  Then we gardened and watered and prepped for a busy week ahead.

  1. Katie, I LOVE your new bike! Grandma says she wants one just like hers because adult frames are too big for her hahaha.
