February happenings Part 1

February was a fun month!

Paczki day!  Chris gets a bunch for work (and we pilfer a few before he brings them in)

One night at our friend's house for the Superbowl, Meg thought it would be funny to stick a bunch of nerf suction darts to her face.  Little did she know it would leave hickies!!  hahahaha

Peaceful back yard

I got to chaperone a "field trip" to the library to work on a project about body systems.  Meg's group studied the muscular system.

Girls with their school Valentines

I went to Jessi's class Valentine's Day party, which was just passing out cards and eating ice cream sundaes!  Yum!

All dolled up for the Daddy Daughter Dance at Lifetime!

Katie was too old, so I took her to Somerset Mall for dinner at PF Chang's, and shopping for her confirmation dress at Lilly Pulitzer!

Valentine's Day breakfast

Meg lost a tooth.  It was bloody.

On President's Day, we met some friends at Pine Knob for a day of skiing.  We were the first ones on the slopes!

Girls with their friends at the top of the bunny hill

Fearless Jess will go anywhere!  I usually sat with her on the chair lifts, and Meg rode with a friend ahead of us or behind us.  One time she was behind us, she fell off!!  (right near the bottom)  I couldn't do anything b/c I was stuck on the chairlift, dangling high!!  Fortunately, Megan was ok, and joined us at the top as soon as she got her skiis back on.

Meg and another friend, who had never skied before!  She did great!

My chairlift buddies for one of the bigger hills

Meg's friend fell hard on her wrist, so we took her to Ski Patrol to get it checked out.  I had to snap a shot before we went inside, of course!!  :)  She was fine, btw.

Chris helping Jess with an electricity project at a school Science Club meeting.

Everyone hard at work

Meg got the wire to spin on the battery/magnet = electromagnetism!

Showing off her constellation in a dark room, using the light bulb circuit she made.

Jessica's first Sacrament of Reconciliation!

We went out for Sumo for lunch to celebrate

We gave her a bible of her own to commemorate the day

Little nerd, reading right away.
