Meg and Jess belong to the Science Club at their school, which is dedicated to hands-on science demonstrations. Here they are doing chromatography:

And here they are with the old vinegar and baking soda trick :

Jessica's grade sang a cute Earth Day song to the whole school at the school assembly:

Katie can do some cool braids on me now:

I divided "a few" of my perennials to share with Mary and Justin:

We enjoyed famous authors visiting our schools last week for our district's annual Authors in April. Here's Laurie Keller giving drawing lessons to grades K-1:

Jessica's drawings of an otter, Arnie the donut, and six faces:

Megan's artwork for her grade's author is the pink one:

Megan's author won the Caldecott medal this year! Brian Floca:

Dad and I went to Alpena last week to deliver the plants and help with garden prep:

Dad started going thru the garbage at Justin's work. "These pieces of wood would be perfect for plant markers!"

We moved the arbor into place:

We hung the beautiful new swing:

Jessica's choir sang in the annual concert:

So did Katie's and Megan's choir:

Then they all sang together:

Both choirs sang at mass yesterday, too. Katie had a solo to lead the Alleluia, and Megan was in a trio for the communion song:

Tonight was the choir party at church. Lots of food...

Followed by lots of bouncing!
