Soccer

Our fall was chock full of soccer.  From early Sept til mid October, we had 3 to 5 soccer games per weekend, plus three practices during the week.  Megan's season went til the end of October, but it was easy to fit in one game per weekend at that point.  I already posted several pictures of Jessica playing soccer, so here are some of Katie and Megan:

Katie's #6.  She played on the school team, in the CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) League.  They played other Catholic schools from all over metro Detroit.  She was on a young team, just 5th graders, and they played combined 5th/6th grade teams, but they wound up with a decent record, and were competitive in every game.

Katie is kicking the ball in this pic.  It was so hard to get good pics of her on the full-sized field!  She usually played defense, and got really good at anticipating where to be.

Megan's #24.  She played in the rec league in our city, with classmates from school.  Her team was fantastic this year, and won most of their games.  Megan was quite a superstar, scoring in most games.  The game really "clicked" with her this year!

It was a chaotic month or so, but it was so much fun for us all.  We loved seeing our girls playing a game that they love, with friends who they love.
