School update

I am a little slow in posting this update about our girls schools. I've told some of you, but not all, and I'm sorry for slacking! Our big news is that we decided to take all three girls out of our parish Catholic school. Moving Katie was a no-brainer, the school wasn't a good fit for her at all. We decided on our neighborhood public school, Hart Middle School. We've toured it a few times, and Katie went to orientation. It's a great school, and I'm sure she'll thrive!

Moving meg and Jess was a harder decision. There were many factors, the biggest was probably that the best teachers in their grades left the school due to the poor administration. We just couldn't see sending them there for the long term, so we decided to start all 3 in new schools at the same time. Meg and Jess will go to a nearby public school, University Hills Elementary. Nickname = U Hills! We toured, met with the principal, and went to the spring open house. The girls are so excited! No uniforms! Nail polish allowed! A cafeteria and gym!

We don't expect that everything will be perfect at these new schools, but we're ready to start a new chapter in our lives. Feel free to ask questions anytime. Please wish us all good luck!
