Alpena!!

We took a quick trip to Alpena last weekend, to visit the CC's. we had a whirlwind of a fun time!!
On Saturday, we got the first tour of their new house that they just closed on on the day before! It is an awesome house, on a great lot, and I can't wait to see it after the kitchen renovation!
We walked around downtown Alpena, visiting Justin's art gallery, and eating lunch at the fresh palate.




Then we went on a glass bottom boat tour of the shipwrecks of Thunder Bay! It was soooo cool!
































Then we went to the Kraffts house to swim, eat, and watch the fireworks on Long Lake. It was a lovely night, even though the fireworks were delayed by 90 minutes.



On Sunday, we walked to the beach, and the kids played in Lake Huron, searched for driftwood from shipwrecks, and made sandcastles. The boys attempted to fly kites.
After lunch, we played putt putt on another beach, and cooled off at DQ. :). There was lots of playing with GG in between! He is getting so big, and loved playing with the girls!!
