We hosted Mom & Dad C. for Thanksgiving, and we packed in a LOT of fun!
We started on Wednesday by going to the Robot Garage in a nearby mall. It's a cool store that sells Lego and all sorts of science-y and nerdy toys, and has a back room where you can play with tables of robots and building toys. They had a free open play night and we went to check it out!

On Black Friday we hit a few stores, and have some great memories even if no pictures. Mom got the tree she really wanted from K-Mart. We got the tree we really wanted from Home Depot, plus a cart-full of poinsettias. And we enjoyed a classic Mom moment when she ran to get help from a store employee, passing two other employees on the way! We went to Bordine's to look at the Christmas displays, and we went to the cemetery to bring new beautiful decorations for Sarah:
We went downtown to have a hipster dinner at Traffic Jam and Snug, and we walked into Shinola and looked in the window of Jolly Pumpkin, which was hosting a big event. Then we went to my favorite place, the DIA! We enjoyed sketching in the African gallery:

We got to make a bug craft in the education center. |
Before they left, we did our latest measurements:
It was an awesome Thanksgiving!!
