Today was Grandparents' Day at Katie & Megan's school. Dad Christensen took the day off work to come to the celebration and had a really fun day with the girls!

| Katie was chosen to bring up the gifts at mass. |
He toured the girls' classrooms, and then went to mass with Megan. Katie had to sit with her 3rd grade class because they had leadership in the mass, but they all wound up sitting near each other. The girls serenaded Grandpa with a cute song (so I hear).
After the celebration, Dad brought Megan home for an hour before afternoon kindergarten started. We took a trip to the compost pile to load up his pickup and trailer. The compost place is always an adventure! Then we had a quick lunch together before I had to dash off to school with the girls. I wish we could have had more time together, but it was a fun visit!
