Badlands!!!

Yesterday we visited the Krogmans in the morning, and had a REALLY nice time catching up with them. We wish we could have stayed and chatted all day long!!



Then we drove on to the Badlands in South Dakota, about 5 hours away. Right outside the park, we found a field of friendly prairie dogs.



In the park, we hiked and hiked and hiked some more!! The girls were very brave and went on one of the hardest trails in the park!! Plus we spent lots of time on easy trails and just wandering up and down the rock formations. It was 102 and very windy.

















We ate a late dinner in the park, and had a beautiful sunset drive through 20 more miles of the badlands. We crashed hard last night, at our hotel in Wall, SD.
