Snowstorm

The snow started Saturday night, and we got a good 3" by morning:

Every hour or so, the driveway would be completely covered again! 

We shoveled five times on Sunday, and measured 12" of snow by 7pm.  (it snowed til at least midnight, though)  The temperature was pretty warm (30) and there wasn't a bit of wind, so it was really fun to play in the snow!

The wind kicked up around 11pm, making for some cool drifts:

School was cancelled for Monday (snow) and for Tuesday (wind chills).  Hooray for two more lazy pajama days!!

I asked the girls to do a puzzle this afternoon before a movie.  Meg got ambitious and did three extras!  (they were super easy ones, though)

The girls just went outside to check some snow levels.  They said it's 15" now, but no way was I going outside to verify!  I'm staying inside as long as possible!

Yippee for an extended Christmas break!
