Jessica
Big news - Jessica is blind as a bat!! She flunked her vision screening at her 4yo checkup, so I made an appt for an optometrist visit today. She is severely far-sighted and has very bad astigmatism. Guess who's getting glasses??!! She tried on a few pairs today and they were all ADORABLE on her cute little face. We will wait til next week when Chris is home to pick out "the" pair. Be on the lookout for pics of Jessi's new look!

oh no, poor Jessi! Has she ever complained about not being able to see things? Is she blinder than Katie?

ReplyDeleteNo complaints, but we are surprised that she is far-sighted b/c she can't see things that are far away, so we thought she was near-sighted like me and Chris. The eye doc said it's b/c her problem is pretty severe. She is much blinder than Katie! 20-100 I think? Glasses will get her to 20-50, and they'll re-evaluate her in 6mos and in a year, and she'll hopefully get a stronger prescription then. The good news is that she is SUPER CUTE in all the glasses she tried, and she's very excited to get them!
